Research Manager

The Research Manager at this international market research firm oversees the set up, planning and management of research projects. Integral to this role is managing and mentoring junior staff and interaction directly with clients. Additionally, there will be involvement with methodological and sampling recommendations and when required, development and sharing of new market knowledge.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Provide clients with strategic advice and insights on the market for one of the following: virtual reality, augmented reality
  • Author syndicated research reports, market forecasts, and articles within the specific areas
  • Provide guidance and input based on clients’ needs and industry trends
  • Maintain a high industry profile, promoting Greenlight’s research & services through regular contact with key industry players, participation in industry events, authoring articles, delivering presentations, and interacting with the press
  • Support sales and business development activities by preparing customer-specific analysis, and participating in key meetings with clients, prospects, and partners
Qualifications:
  • Experience & demonstrated passion for technology is required
  • 3+ years of project management experience in market research
  • In-depth knowledge of the virtual reality and augmented reality industry, including strong familiarity with major players, competitive dynamics, business issues, and market trends
  • Excellent client management skills with the ability to communicate in a professional manner, which includes designing, setting up and reviewing research projects
  • Be able to work in a fast paced environment; meeting project deadlines
  • Ability to multi-task with excellent organizational and time management skills
  • Applicant must have excellent attention to detail
  • Experience doing both quantitative and qualitative research
  • Ability to mentor, support and manage research analysts
  • Advanced skills in Microsoft Office
  • Experience using SPSS is a plus

Analyst

Key Responsibilities:

Our Analysts work closely with our Research Director and other members of the Analyst team to investigate new topics of interest for business executives working in the consumer technology, entertainment, media and marketing industries, including industry growth, consumer insights, monetization, and emerging technology trends. Our Analysts provide clients with strategic advice and insights by authoring syndicated research reports, market forecasts, and thought-leadership on virtual reality and augmented reality.

Qualifications:
  • Experience & demonstrated passion for technology is required
  • In-depth knowledge of the virtual reality and augmented reality industry, including strong familiarity with major players
  • Excellent client management skills with the ability to communicate in a professional manner
  • Be able to work in a fast paced environment; meeting project deadlines
  • Ability to multi-task with excellent organizational and time management skills
  • Applicant must have excellent attention to detail
  • Strong writing ability
  • Experience with public speaking
  • Mastery of all Google Drive and Microsoft Office suites. Comfort using Adobe Creative Cloud tools
  • Comfort using slack.com, project management tools (asana.com), and other collaboration apps

Research Associate

Key Responsibilities:

Our Research Associate works closely with our Research Director and other members of the Analyst team to investigate new topics of interest for business executives working in the virtual and augmented reality, marketing, studio entertainment, and related industries, including industry growth, consumer insights, monetization, and emerging technology trends. Methodologies include quantitative primary research and secondary research.

Qualifications:
  • Excellent research skills
  • Excellent financial analysis skills
  • Strong writing ability
  • Mastery of all Google Drive and Microsoft Office suites, particularly Excel and Powerpoint
  • Comfort using slack.com, Google Hangout, asana.com, and other collaboration apps
  • Experience working at technology startups
  • Prior experience in technology market research, investment banking or management consulting is a bonus
