Project Manager

The Project Manager (PM) oversees the analyst team’s workload, including planning, managing, and executing multiple complex research projects, priorities, and deadlines for internal partners, amongst other related duties. The PM manages project intake, oversees and directs multiple research projects at a time (within a given team and at times across multiple teams), loops in relevant team members (e.g., product, marketing, sales), and sets priorities to ensure products and services are produced and delivered on time.

How You Will Make an Impact
  • Act as the main point person throughout the research process for internal stakeholders.
  • Review and determine if all information has been obtained to complete a project. If information is missing, seek out the missing information from the appropriate partners.
  • Develop and evolve processes and tools to effectively and efficiently serve internal teams to meet their product requirements at agreed-to service levels.
  • Maintain deep knowledge and understanding of all steps required in the research development and production process for client deliverables.
  • Manage multiple projects simultaneously while weighing the importance of specific jobs and prioritizing accordingly.
  • Work independently to develop, monitor, manage, and revise project scope documents, timelines, and processes, keeping the team aware of changes and concerns.
  • Maintain client satisfaction through effective project management and a strong commitment to service.
  • Communicate professionally during stressful situations, resolving problems effectively and positively.
  • Passionately serve clients, developing and maintaining strong client relationships.
  • Resolve complex production and project issues with a collaborative, solution-oriented approach.
  • Define and agree on deliverables and milestones with stakeholders and communicate to management; continuously prioritize projects and manage scope creep and revision cycle.
  • Facilitate communication globally with internal research teams and other stakeholders to meet daily deliverables.
  • Enforce consistency of brand standards and work internally with cross-functional teams to stay up to date with changes.
  • Work collaboratively with team members to meet client needs and business objectives.
  • Provide floating support for teammates on various projects as needed.
  • Participate in program and department meetings.
  • Provide timely project tracking and department reporting information through daily administrative tasks.
What you need to be successful:

  • 3+ years project management experience working with a research or consulting team
  • Flexible, adaptable, and team oriented
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Exceptional organizational and time management skills
  • Must be able to simultaneously focus on big picture, details, and driving results
