Following its Q3 earnings call, PTC announced on July 30th that semiconductor manufacturer GlobalFoundries (GF), will begin using its Vuforia augmented reality solutions platform. Announced last week, ModiFace has partnered with Amazon to enhance the beauty try-on experience for Amazon customers. ModiFace integrated their augmented reality and artificial intelligence technology within the Amazon app, allowing customers from the U.S. and Japan to try-on various shades of lipstick from L’Oréal makeup brands, Anastasia Beverly Hills, CoverGirl, Revlon, and Rimmel.
